I'd be happy to pay for it if not for 2 things...

1) I'm at a party on NYE and can't watch the Dec 31 broadcast but could do for the 30th!

2) I don't know how to get to the purchase screen, nor what to do after xD Hopefully before CDL 2011-2012 they can get an English site up for purchasing! <3 and a Dec 30 broadcast too?

An uncut version of the event「ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN LIVE 2010-2011 A ～do it again～」that will be held on December 31st will be broadcast on Ustream from 3:00 Am of January 1st 2011 (encore will not be included)
Ticket price will be 3,150 JPY (tax included). We have prepared 2 courses since PCs and the internet connection environment of each customer varies. There will be a 1Mbps (High resolution）course, and a 500kbps (Low resolution）course.

Exactly 3.150 yen is almost $40 what were they thinking really? They are really desperately trying to earn the money on every single thing, as while they do have the right to charge for everything, I don't think that many people will actually be willing to pay for this when it comes to Overseas fans as we'll get the rip in the matter of hours and since it's not even a LIVE broadcast why bother?

Lol laaaame. I'd think it's because TV viewers have to pay for the channel to view the CDL though, therefore trying to make it fair for everyone. But the wtf part is that it's not even live when we view it online lol.

I can understand why her management would be hesitant to broadcast something for free when there's so much value attached to the tickets themselves, but come on... This is like how they only have ~short versions~ of the PVs on the Youtube account. People who care enough to see the video ~to the end~ already bought the album. People who care enough to want to see the concert in all its HD glory already purchased tickets/premium satellite service. Crappy streaming video for free isn't going to cut into those sales. It might help sell the Ayu brand to new people internationally, however.

If someone told me a big star I've never heard of is having a concert and I have to pay to watch it online...well I wouldn't pay X_X
