the original artists were credited, from what i read, so avex just bought the rights of the song. kinda like kumi's Physical thing, i think.

Except Physical Thing wasn't a cover, just a song bought from a non-Avex songwriter. At least, I seem to recall that was the case ...

Even so, I don't mind, since I prefer Anna's version anyway ; P
