I really wish that ayu would not get nakeder every time a new album came out.... and it's not because I don't like the cover! I LOVE the cover! It's beautiful and shiny...but I'm afraid that she might be compared to Christina Aguilera (<-- meaning that she has to keep people's attention by stripping)
I respect Ayu for her music and I hope she doesn't feel pressured into the nudity thing....
but anyway, it's a beautiful cover!

Note how Independent is spelled correcly on this one. Also, "everlasting dream" and "neverending dream."

I don't know why being naked in a cover make some of you a bit worried.....artistic nudity is a very different thing from porn nudity!!! Ayu seems so natural in her covers...they always add a special environment to it in order that you must appreciate the whole picture.....I don't see why it would be disturbing...and there will never be any way to compare Ayú being nude in that pic with Christina Aguillera in her cover. It's absurd lol. Just look at aguilera's cover!! She's calling you to have sex with her!! While if you look at ayu in that pic, you'll just want to be appreciating the cover, which in my opinion is very beautiful and is looking better (more natural) with her being nude (apparently) than being all dressed!

Oh, don't get me wrong! I didn't think that the cover was vulgar or anything... it's just that ayu seems to be loosing more and more clothes every album... and I don't think that she should feel the need to outdo herself every time (if that's what she's doing)

I'm about to be flooded with e-mails from yesasia telling me to buy it. .. But I'm getting it for christmas!!!! I just hope the same thing doesnt happen like last time when they had all these errors. My mom told them not to let me buy things cuz I could just buy stuff when I wanted to. But it ruined it and they woudn't even except her account at first! It was all fixed but it was still a late BD present. ... WORRIED!!!!!!!
The nudity is fine! My mom just saw it and even she didn't think it was bad....

Well, I bet that was a nude photo shoot at some points, not denying that, but -

a) she'd want to be covered up as much as possible when other peole were around and she could be
b) I don't consider it a nude cover becasue she isn't naked in front of us
c) I don't consider it bad because that's tasteful and it's art, and that's all she's trying to do
d) because I know she doesn't have to have a cover like that to sell records, or to act sexy to sell records, it wouldn't matter if she used the other cover or this one, the record would still sell like hotcakes.
e) Plus, got to keep in mind that "kawaii" is popular in japan, cute and innocent look is "hot" there, so acting like, well you know, wouldn't help her sell records anyway.

In the end it doesn't really matter because we're getting 10 awesome new tracks from the best artist in Japan!! That's why records will sell! She has amazing talent and style.

i was under the impression that rainbow was going to be like a website exclusive or something to that effect. like when you got the cd it would come with something to log into a site where you can download it for a limited time. i know daft punk did something similar to that with their recent cd, discovery.

That's not entirely correct. When you buy the Japan version of the RAINBOW album, an instrumental version of the song "RAINBOW" is included. With the album, there is a password to a special website online where you can suggest lyrics that Ayu should use to complete the song.

Has the information on whether the actual instrumental version of RAINBOW will be on the album? It's become quite unclear. Some articles say that you must access the website to hear the song, and now others are saying that it is going to be track 00. But can CD players even play a track 00 ?

I really have no clue if they can or not. But Ayu's official website does list a track 00. I guess we won't have any solid answers until after the release. Then it will all become clear hopefully.

It's all so mysterious.... 7 more days....

I think they're listing it as Track 00 just cuz they aren't sure exactly how else to list it It's KINDA included, and kinda not... if that makes any sense.
