"I love girls" in Shake It
Does ayu really whispers "I love girls" in Shake It? Just at the end of the "oh lai lai lai" part

It kinda sounds like it, but I have a feeling girls is in vocative case (maybe "I love it, girls" or it is engrish and just came as I love, girls!), because later she says clearly: "Hey, girls!" as if she were inviting her friends or something.

To me it sounds like "I like this" but now you said it, it definitely sounds like "I like girls". Hmm

If you read her interview from SCawaii, she seems to say that "girls" refers to gay men.

Yeah, she did do so on SCawaii haha.
I also heard "I love this" from the very first time I heard it. XD ayu's english is understandable/good compared to your usual japanese artists. |
