ayumi hamasaki 25th Anniversary LIVE - 8th April 2023

ayumi hamasaki has debuted in 1998 with "poker face" and quickly became the darling of the times, setting numerous records.

On this memorable anniversary day, April 8 (Sat.), a super premium live concert will be held at the sacred Yoyogi National Stadium 1st Gymnasium!

The show will not only feature new songs from her latest album "Remember you," which recently broke the record for Japanese female artists with 54 albums in the Top 10, but also an entertainment show featuring a fusion of her best-loved songs from over the years. What is the message that ayu will be presenting?

In addition, a big news will be announced on the day of the show.

I was expecting a full 25th anniversary tour, not just one live. Huh. I guess we will see the further details. Not much time for planning.

I was thinking the same. I wonder if she'll do an arena kick-off, then switch to a hall tour for the rest of the year through to her 26th.

Honestly, I'd rather go to the finale than the beginning of a tour (if it pans out to be one) - but unless more info comes soon I may just plan on going to this one, and trying to get tickets for Kuu's shows in Aichi the next day.

yeah I was waiting (=wishing) for 25th Anniversary Tour just like she did with A BEST LIVE in 2013 but that was then and this is now. I don't know is there even idea doing a whole tour if she can't sold them out? It's all about money after all ayu certainly has a fan base but her touring year after year and in my opinion her tours has become a little repeatitive I can understand why they aren't sold out. If she kept doing classic songs-tour every now and then I bet people would be more interesting to attending.

But this is exciting! my wish was to attend to her 25th Anniversary Tour on April 8th so I guess I could made my dream come true, let's see what happens! Regardless I'm happy she is still doing lives. 25th Anniversary is a major accomplisment.

I think they are not sure what to do because of the ASIA leg of last tour still not being done. So until that is finished, can't start the 25th tour?

That guy has helped them out for a while now, he was part of a big metal group too!

I think Yocchan and Yusuke have had other engagements. Enrique too which is why that one bassist that Utada had for a while is in the band now. I do think Yocchan still does recording for the backing tracks though!

Yocchan has a tour in 2023 of his own and a lot of support band stuff.

Of course she and Yocchan were close but he is the most expensive member of her band so just have to replace him with another non-celebrity guitarist

I was like , why is she being so ominous. She is stirring something up with this , and as much as I would like to know , I also kind of don't. She really kicked off the beginning of the year with doom and gloom after a countdown concert.
Bummer.
