Since I enjoy exceptional vocals, I was instantly attracted towards this artist. Before discovering her, I used to think Hitomi Shimatani had the best vocals in J-Pop, but I truly believe Kanon's vocals are superior. [This is just my opinion] Her vocals are highly transparent and have water-like quality. I think many people interested in classical music will enjoy Kanon. Despite the fact that she is not famous in Japan, she is frequently invited to perform in several events and is regarded as an icon. I think she's an artist that should not be missed by people who appreciate exceptional vocals. I love this girl!!!
Although like you said, people who appreciate classical music will surely love Kanon  I of course am one of them! Her music is so captivating it's just perfect!! I wish she would release new material now!! If it's not too much trouble do you have the song from that game Tales of whatever. I can't seem to find it anywhere... As a matter of fact, I can't seem to find any of her music online to purchase...

 She seems to take her time to release stuff. You mean the song called "Tori wa Naki, Boku wa Utau"? If so I can upload it

Right now Kanon is recording music in the studio. According to her blog she's going to release an album by the end of the year.

Must...bump...this thread. Kanon is graced with such a beautiful voice. I wish more people were into her. I almost thought there would be more fans here at AHS because of the number of people, but it turns out there's only six posts...

Oh man, that's tough. Um, if you go to the Channel-Ai blog Celsius005 has done some really fantastic reviews, and the songs are also available to listen. Here are the links:
Sanctuary Primary Flowers From Sanctuary, I really like subete, blue and tsuki. From Primary Flowers I love KISEKI ~Song of Love~, Gloria, and Wings to Fly ~Tsubasa no Kudasai~. But I love both albums in their entirety. If you enjoy contemporary classical and New Age, then you'll like Kanon Oh, and if you want to hear any songs from recent albums (like the Christmas one or her Wings to Fly single) just let me know

Nope, I'm pretty sure My Road~Songs is the next release.
If you haven't heard, here is Saga~ This is my road the anime ending. But apparently she performed it live as well! So here's the link to that performance. Saga ~ This is my road live The live is perfect. Absolutely beautiful.
