Although the information doesn't talk about her going to London. (on the left) There is a photo of it to prove she was in London xD.. how cool is that?!

Hmm well i wouldn't put it that way, I mean sure everybody can change it. But it's nice to see that a few AHS members on her wiki . Thought it was quite nice. Although i think if anyone should be editing or anything they should edit her main Wiki Photo .

I'm the girl the with white hat ^^ and gigi the blonde girl, the other girl is cronopl girlfriend, she isn't on AHS ^^

And well... a member here in AHS, Embleu, is the one who "I'm the Wikipedia editor who brought Ayu's article up to Featured Article status"... that ^^ (If I remember well he was also doing the "voice" article of Ayu and asked for some pronunciation advise time ago ^^) And he asked me permission to post my picture on wikipedia as they want free copyright images ^^

So that's it ^^

The article doesn't even mention her going to London for the recording. It's just a picture.

Well, the reasons I used that picture are 1) Wikipedia prefers copyright-free media for its articles ("free use" instead of "fair use", which explains why there aren't any pictures from her photoshoots etc.) and 2) I thought it would be a good way to illustrate the fact that Ayu's fanbase extends well beyond Japan. And we get kooks every now and then who think that Wiki is just a more high-profile place to dump rumors, but the article's watchers usually have it taken care of pretty quickly. (I've been thinking about requesting article protection so that only experienced users can edit it, but I've been so swamped with stuff lately I haven't really had much time for article maintenance. )

Does the fact that Ayu's is Wikipedia's only featured article on a Japanese singer count for anything? Or the fact that I think hers is the only featured article with an intimate picture of the fans? True, it's not like the picture is in TIME or the Wall Street Journal, but I think it's pretty cool.

I wasn't saying anything negative about the picture being there. I was just pointing out that there's no statement to go with the picture - if anything, it's just a random picture just there saying "Ayu with a bunch of European fans". If someone who wanted to get into Ayu looked there, they wouldn't know when or why she went.

Being a featured article isn't something to be too excited about. It just means that visitors of Wiki rate it the highest when it comes to how it looks, really.

I know it's no big deal appearing on Wikipedia since anyone can edit any article, but it's just curious that someone else though of uploading that photo there. More that's my favorite picture in the whole universe and I'm glad to see it anywhere in the world haha It's just very special to me, but I can perfectly understand that you can't see the point of being excited for something like that XD
