^ This particuliar date was Chapter 2.5, a concert that was supposed to take place months ago but had been cancelled either due to the weather or ayu's health, so the setlist is almost the same as Chapter 2. The concert you've been to is Chapter 3

Reminder of the Chapter 3 setlist :
Quote:
01. I am...
02. Moments
03. A Song for xx
-Interlude-
04. Shake It ♥
05. STEP you
-Interlude-
06. Memorial address
07. Last minute
- Interlude - Pieces of SEVEN
08. Bold & Delicious
09. progress
10. FLOWER
11. ourselves
ENCORE
-MC-
12. Feel the love ~ XOXO ~ Lelio ~ You & Me ~ AUDIENCE
13. Boys & Girls
14. Love song
Chapter 2.5 is Chapter 2 setlist minus 1LOVE, how beautiful you are replaced by Days and the encore songs are replaced by the encore of Chapter 3

I have a feeling that there will be announcement for a major release on the final date.

She just imitates Madonna. I don't think that for the same reason she uses a cross as Madonna.

Except that she used the cross in concert years before Madonna ever did.

Months*

But her obsession with catholic imagery is most likely Madonna-inspired anyway.

In art crosses are also used as a symbol of self sacrifice, of a difficult task someone must endure, of being punished while being innocent, etc. Both Madonna's and Ayu's uses of the symbol tend to fit its usual meanings in art

Make sure to also add a definition of the last supper which ayu also uses in addition to the crucifiction!!

From wikipedia. If you want a better source don't be lazy and search yourself:

Quote:
There are three major themes in the depictions of the Last Supper: the first is the dramatic and dynamic depiction of Jesus' announcement of his betrayal. The second is the moment of the institution of the tradition of the Eucharist. The depictions here are generally solemn and mystical. The third major theme is the farewell of Jesus to his disciples, in which Judas Iscariot is no longer present, having left the supper. The depictions here are generally melancholy, as Jesus prepares his disciples for his departure.[1] There are also other, less frequently depicted scenes, such as the washing of the feet of the disciples.[70]
Ayumi is not trying to say she "is Jesus", she is chanelling a recurrent symbol in art history (as she frequently did during her whole career) to make a statement during a stage pertormance. In this case, using it as a metaphor for death and rebirth as a figure of power on the market she has been part of for the last 20 years. It would be pretentious if it wasn't the "Emperess of Jpop", their best selling solo act ever, someone current acts still emulate to a big level even today. It also is a trend, considering Beyonce and Madonna also used the Last Supper as a visual theme on recent performances.

I hope you do know what a metaphor is.

Ayu did it during CDL05-06, Madonna during Confessions Tour, started 5 months after. But it was a very Madonna thing to do, so it may be just a coincidence.

No need to be rude, Let me see if I got this correct. ayu used sacred biblical events, or as you call it “symbol art history” as a metaphor to make a statement. By metaphorically
Proytraying to be Jesus or relating to Jesus in some way. Oh!! I’m glad
You’ve recognized that ayu is using Jesus even if it’s just “metaphorically”. The real question is why would ayu “metaphorically” defile such sacred events and such a holy figure to symbolize her fall from stardom. This is as unnecessary as the falling crown from chapter 1.

Sorry that you are that annoyed about something that is ridiculously common in the art history. Mostly because christianity was shoved down people's throats around the world.

They are sacred for you, they obviously aren't for Ayu, or for the majority of her public considering where most of her fanbase lives. Sacred or not, Christian imagery, mostly catholic, are a huge part of the art history for reasons I believe you already know if you had history lessons while you studied. She isn't really taking any of those references to a offensive direction. Ceci n'est pas Jésus

Are you this annoyed everytime any other religious aesthetic is used in art, or only now because it's yours?

Or are you just looking for excuses to complain about Ayu over here as you tend to do?
