This whole performance felt really strong. I kind of want the outfit to be reused for the CDL because it really suits her winter songs. The chorus and band having similar outfits makes me wish the band would be there for CDL too...

there's some thing about ayu's huge sigh and her shoulders dropping at the end of "appears" that made the performance even more effective for me. fits in with the whole vibe of both "appears" and "Who...". this performance is really perfection.

I'm surprised at the amount of wrong information on the show. It's not been 23 years since she did Appears on TV. She performed it in 2003 on Hey Hey Hey, making it 20 years. It appears Ayu doesn't remember that performance either though since she didn't mention it in her post lol. Heyx3 and FNS are both on Fuji TV.

First, I thought they are mentioning only the FNS performance in 1999, since it's been 23 years since then, but later I understood they just forgot HEY HEY HEY performance.

Was it just a mistake? He also made a mistake with Ayu’s anniversary, saying 20 years then correcting himself to 25, so I’m thinking it was just a mistake as well? Lol
I have no idea why it was said to have been a 2006 song. In 2006, Who... Was already 7 years old as we all know, and there was no rerelease in that year. IIRC the next version of Who... After the ballads version is the All Singles Complete version.

Good vocals for Ayu standards as I was hoping for, with gentle pitch-correction, even if some transitions stand out as robotic.

Yeah, and I feel like Japanese tv programs are usually realllly good about remembering archival stuff.

She looked and sounded great. But why did they put the dancers in? They did not need to be there at all.
