Question about selling things in the Fan Sites Forum

Just a little question:

Would it be against AHS forum policy to post something up about anime fansubs? I wouldn't be selling them for profit or whatnot, but just for the cost of shipping & tapes/blank cd-rs, just as I had paid for them. I honestly just need to get rid of them, and I wouldn't feel right posting them on ebay.

Thanks!

^I don't think thats alowed. even if you aren't making a profit, you're still getting money from the bootlegs. Since their fansubs you'd be going against the law by transfering money from the distrubtion I think.

Also, since its against policy to transfer anime files and links to fansubs, this may not be alowed either.

i would only be charging for shipping and basic equipment cost (tapes), not for content. and it's not licensed. but it's ok i don't think i will try here anyway so thanks.

^even if its not licensed. If it has a copy right I don't think it should be bootlegged and sold, even if you are only charging for shipping. I don't know if its best for you to try here, I doubt many people would buy it on tapes. But if you are still curious, I would definitely contact skal, or another moderator. they can give you a definite yes or no answer.

the answer is a definite no.

it's irrelevant wheter you'd actually make profit or not, the fact remains that you'd make money off illegal material.

also sorry if I'm being rude, but it just seems fishy to me that you would ship these things with zero profit just to get rid of them.

I'm a cynic, I realize that
