Where to buy J-Pop in London?

Hi everybody^^ I'm in England at the end of the month and thought it might be a nice opportunity to buy some J-Pop/J-Rock, I tried googling for J-Pop London but it didn't show me anything related, so i'm asking here, especially the people from London: Where in London is it possible to buy J-Pop?

I don't think you will find J-Pop so easily in western countries. Ayumi Hamasaki isn't very popular in our environment a.k.a. Europe.
You can buy those CD's, DVD'S and fanstuff (like Ayupan) from:

ebay, but ok... maybe isn't that good quality.
yesasia.com This is where I buy Jpopalbums. You have to find it out how it works, but we will help you. It's really easy.
amazon.com Warning! This site isn't always reliable.
cdjapan.com (or whatever) I never look on this site, but a lot of members here use this site.

Well good luck, and I hope a I helped you a little bit.

You could check an HMV store, but during my time in London I didn't see any single J-pop CD/DVD there. (-_-'')

But just keep your eyes open for any music stores and take a look inside. You might find what you were looking for. However, I think they only sell J-Pop in those "special" stores.

Like Luna said, you can also take a look on one of those sites. I recommend YesAsia and CDJapan the most (mostly YA).

Japanese magazines are your best bet
Try the china town at Picadilly, and even better go to the Japan Center. Lastyear they used to sell a small selection of CD's but when I went last, I couldn't find them. I'm not sure if they've brought them back or not.

There is a small shop in the china town that sells Japanese and Chinese CD's, but they are stupidly expensive, and you have to watch out for the bootlegs.

Theres the Japan Center, if I remember rightly. That sells Japanese music and DVD's but from what I hear its exceedingly expensive.

^ I just went to the website of the japan center, but it says they only have food, magazines, books and some other things like fans, no mention of cds and dvds there. Well, it seems theres no j-pop in london then xD I expected something there because all the japanese bands have their concerts in london.

^ Maybe they once had J-Pop and then stopped stocking it.
All I know is that the website says nothing at all about music and the website is really big + you are able to order like everything there.

I did just say that they used to, but the last time I went they didn't.

Edit~
Also I never found it to be expensive.
You could pick up singles in there for about £3.

Japan Center is very close to Piccadilly Circus, I can't describe which side street it is, but when you're standing on Piccadilly Circus, just look around and in one of the streets you should see Japan Center, just a couple of yards from the Circus.

It's it's your left-hand side (from the direction of Piccadilly Circus) and across the street is a Starbucks.
I'm not familiar in London sorry but I do remember that.

I went in December 2008, and they had 3 magazines with Ayu on the cover!! So cool! I bought Scawaii

The CD's have more or less stopped being carried by the Japan Centre. They used to have tons (and not that expensive) of new releases. Around £20 for a CD only album, so not too bad. They used to carry lots of singles too. If I ever was there I would sometimes grab a CD.

Last time i went they did have a small section in the back (hidden by the souveniers upstairs) a small box full of CD's. Maybe they still do have some? They were clearance prices too in there. Mainly I remember seeing ELT and Gackt albums.

The only other places in London is one or two stores in China town, but they are overseas versions (and the stores do sell bootlegs) so be careful!
