CDL 07-08 DVD on TV News

Ayu's voice is live on the DVD, but I think that for the most part, people think that when avex balances the audio out [and sometimes, that includes stuff with Ayu's voice] they're replacing her vocals or something, which is not the case. I think they just take what she's sung and make it sound better.

Would you simply want avex to just release the TV version that you could see on TV for free on DVD? @_@ It's like begging to get ripped off if you just want a simply recorded show that isn't just a little touched up. :\ I mean, I know there's the group that thinks that when they "edit" Ayu, it's not her, but srsly, it's all her. Unless you can somehow present proof that they replace her voice with resung vocals or something. :\

They don't seem to edit mistakes with vocals and stuff since Ayu tends to freak out when those happen, but when she's simply singing and it's somewhat off, they strengthen the vocals and do a little audio tweaking so it's not THAT bad..

However, I don't think that people should make a big deal out of it, since people are paying for this DVD, they are going to want an "article of the finest quality", not some simply recorded and un-retouched version of Ayu in concert.

I mean, would you pay for an artist's photobook if they had stretch marks and pimples everywhere? :\ Would you want someone to use their first take singing a song on an album?

(Though I'd love a secret track to be a 'song outtake' of sorts, sort of like a blooper reel XD That'd be funny to me)

^I'm not saying that it's not Ayu's voice...>.> I'm simply saying that if I want to see a concert, I would rather see the performance the way it was done when they recorded it on that particular day without editing.

Aaawwww, shes really pushing herself and her staff to make her fans happy!

I think that's what happened with the removal of the rope dance in Secret during AT07, except she wrote a letter and PECO read it.

But that's not the point here. The performance IS the way it was done, it's just made better sounding. It's like, the highest quality you could get! D:~

Jepp jepp and that one when she went to her dancers after one show (dont remember which) and she said, quite angry, that this was their worst show and that they really must cheer up quick.

Just to point out, it looks as though they used different cameras for CDL07-08? Like, the same HD ones they use for ARENA TOURS... usually the CDLs are a lot different in terms of video, like it's in a different framerate or something. @_@

The "I wonder if it'll be worth it" was because I thought the DVD version was what he had.. and that far before he would be able to upload and encode it, someone else would have done the task or w/e.

But we've had the TV ver. rip since the day it came out from Share.. :\ [which seem to be what he's providing..]

I for one, love this CDL, and would delightfully accept a DVDRIP of it, but I'm probably going to get ahold of it somehow..

Well its kinda sad about what she said but that's just wat professionals do.
She manages to put all her private off-stage relationship aside and focus fully on the quality of the show all by herself. Well not so many artists can sing and manages their concerts seriously like Ayu.
She always take it to the maximum and we all know it.

I will save up for the DVD.

They usually record the concert sound normally in the TV ver. so it doesnt sound so "live"
The fully recorded and vocally enhanced ver. in the DVD sounds more realistic and lively.
