I like the preview! I do think it looks more like yoga class than porn though. Also, Ayu is starting to get ripped. Idk how young or old she is, but she looks so good.

Indeed, when I first saw the preview, I thought her body looked toned as hell. She is probably the most 'buff' of any of the female pop stars nowadays, hahaha.

I guess my point was that a lot of younger artists would do something like this because it's so 'out there' and 'artistic'. They probably wouldn't do it in just one cut or anything but it feels like something I would see from certain artists.

What i said at first was that no one young and relevant would do this and you said they would and that its very hipster. Now you are saying the completely opposite? Maybe I should be more clear by young and relevant, when I say this I just mean 'popular/mainstream' which is not hipster. They go against the mainstream (if they become popular thats a totally different story, lol). What Im saying about this PV is that it dates her in terms of how old she actually is. Just by going on what is popular in music in japan right now, no one would do this unless they were there for it to begin with. She is pretty much taking her past (TO BE) and doing it again. |

Let's just say that sometimes celebrities/artists do things that are 'underground' despite having mainstream appeal. I understand that hipster is to 'go against mainstream trends' but the lines are kind of blurred nowadays imo with 'hipsters' becoming 'trendy' which is kind of weird, but that's how things are.
I never really intended to comment on you saying that the video 'aged' her or if I did, I didn't do it on purpose.

Well, I agree with TrueHappiness, she is not using a mainstream aesthetic, what is nice. And it's very usual for some popstars to get some stuff underground and turn it into mainstream... Actually, some of the biggest classics of pop, being it videos, music or performances were inspired by "hipster" stuff.

Personally, I feel the idea of "hipster" is a bit of a paradox when it comes to "mainstream".
And lol, I always love when people bring up porn and it never looks like actual porn.

Oh my, I love it so far.
It's my fave video -by far- from all of these releases. And I'm only 2:01 into it.  She looks fantastic. But, she missed an amazing oppertunity to be all surrounded by cherry blossoms for a SAKURA video imo.  Which is, to me, the strongest preview from the new songs. It seems like they're trying to use Melody as the lead in song? They called it a "new song" on the news broadcast, even though it isn't technically.
