Japan's largest summer festival a-nation with cumulative audience of more than 6.1 million people, the first online performance in history "a-nation online 2020" to be held.

Due to the spread of new coronavirus infection, a-nation announced that it will postpone the in-person live show. As a result of all the staff members examining a project that everyone can enjoy, in the summer of 2020, we decided to hold "a-nation online 2020", the first online music festival in the history of a-nation.

In this event, multiple stages will be set up and users can select and view the ones they want. In addition, we plan to offer online events like a real event, and to develop not only in Japan but also in Asia and other countries around the world, which is unique to online music festivals.

We will announce the performance artists, ticket information, viewing method, etc. as soon as it is decided, so please wait for further information.

She reposted it on IG as well but mentioned really generic things in her comment talking about safety being high priority and that entertainment will not be lost in Japan, also ganbare a-nation! No outright confirmation of participation but I think she's probably itching to do something for it.

Worth noting that it doesn't seem any other artist has retweeted or reposted on IG besides Ayu atm?

My team had a pride in more skills on video creative and live broadcasting that have developed over the years and so on, we’ll continue to promote our "Entertainment x Tech" project! This event will feature multiple stages, allowing customers to select their own viewing preferences, and also to watch from around the world including Asia. I think they could probably manage an actual performance venue to use for something since she and the dancers seem to have met up recently from TA videos they've made and the photoshoot she did. It's been long enough for small groups to gather at least so they won't have to do the "live from home" sort of thing.

If it wasn't going to be months from now, prerecorded would be likelier but I think they'll go for live especially with the guy works on live broadcasting posting about it.

They actually did this on 2011 it looked like a small discotheque but it was just for a few artists to perform there, maybe this time they will hold it on a bigger venue as probably they are going with the entire line-up

Like that setup I think they'll do a main stage or two and then various smaller substages for other acts. I think at the most when they were doing it at normal a-nations it was like 2-3 small stages for other performers?

Depending on how many artists they end up having this could be really chaotic, lol. Hopefully they have VODs available for a bit.

I think I saw some people saying that since the pre-showing of her new concert for TA is going to be on the same day, they wonder if Ayu will actually be involved in a-nation? But I suppose you could still watch both depending on the timing. But well, just figured I’d mention it. I didn’t even check to see what days both things are on lol.
