I actually like this site because it has so many topics about Ayu with huge amount of comments, the discussians are similar to 2chan and most of the time Ayu gets bashed. Anyway it's interesting to read sometimes. I mean FEEL THE LOVE lol

That's really cute of you to defend ayu there. Sometimes Japanese trolls just get out of hand. You could see that they have free hate based on nothing saying the fans were paid for, and we all know as a fact that they weren't. So the Japanese who hate her bullshit a lot

it is indeed for Japanese media, they just choose to premier it in Louvre for some artsy reasons
So it was mostly for japanese media and japanese public?
Did any western press even notice?
Must have been pricey.

You didn't expect the Japanese press to not attend an event for a Japanese movie, right? I mean it was the world premiere of an Osamu Tezuka adaptation. I'm sure there were a few other Western outlets there, just not as many as the Japanese.

Also, 'defending' Ayu in a sea of people who already hate her is pretty futile.

I saw a mini video/reportage on Euronews last week around two days after the press conference. So it seems at least one european news channel was there.

http://www.euronews.com/2014/01/30/d...ens-in-europe/

The video does not talk only about this movie though.
