Aiba Masaki’s new programme ‘VS Damashii’ to take over ‘VS Arashi’ starting January

Arashi member Aiba Masaki’s new variety programme ‘VS Damashii’ will begin its broadcast in January.

‘VS Damashii’ will take over Arashi’s popular game variety programme ‘VS Arashi’ which will come to an end this December. The programme’s concept will remain the same, but Aiba plans to incorporate new things into his upcoming show.

He commented, “I feel a lot of pressure to be continuing Arashi’s important program slot by myself, but I will do my best so that everyone will enjoy this new programme.”

'1-Oku 3000-Mannin no SHOW Channel' hosted by Sakurai Sho to succeed 'Arashi ni Shiyagare'

A new programme titled '1-Oku 3000-Mannin no SHOW Channel' hosted by Arashi's Sakurai Sho will begin its broadcast on NTV beginning January.

'1-Oku 3000-Mannin no SHOW Channel' will succeed 'Arashi ni Shiyagare' that's scheduled to end in December. The programme will invite celebrities, cultural figures, athletes, and even members of the general public to submit things they want to do or see, then materialise them. Sakurai, who loves to watch videos of various genres on a regular basis, will serve as the director of this 'SHOW Channel.'

On being in charge of this new programme, Sakurai commented, "Until now, the five of us have carefully protected Saturdays at 9 pm. To carry on this major role by myself, I am honestly surprised." He continued to express, "I hope to deliver a peaceful atmosphere that will help to heal the fatigue for the week. I will aim for a programme that people will talk about at school or work at the beginning of the week."

The song was created by Sam Hollander , who also created songs for One Direction , Katy Perry & Panic! At The Disco

Party Starters was recorded in Los Angeles & it will be used to promote Softbank's 5G project ads

A lyrics video for Party Starters will be released next Fri ; 1pm Japan time & the actual PV for the song will be released on YouTube on 3rd Nov , on the same day as A.RA.SHI & This is ARASHI releases

Ninomiya Kazunari's starring film 'Asadake!' wins Best Asian Film at 'Warsaw International Film Festival'

'Asadake!' ('The Asadas') has won the Best Asian Film Award (NETPAC Award) at the '36th Warsaw International Film Festival.'

Directed by Nakano Ryota, the movie was motivated by photographer Asada Masashi’s photography books 'Asadake' and 'Album no Chikara.' It stars Ninomiya Kazunari (Arashi), Tsumabuki Satoshi, Fubuki Jun, Kuroki Haru, and Suda Masaki.

The awards ceremony was held on October 17 in Warsaw, Poland. On 'Asadake!' the judging committee commented, "It was truly an inspiring and enjoyable film filled with hope that is needed for these current, chaotic times. We are conferring the Best Asian Film Award (NETPAC Award) for its wonderful portrayal of the sadness and joy of a unique family in which everyone has a big heart and is unwilling to give up on their pure dreams." This is the first Japanese film to be selected as the Best Asian Film at the Warsaw International Film Festival.

While Ninomiya and Nakano were unable to attend the ceremony due to COVID-19, they released a comment after receiving the good news. Ninomiya expressed, "Film festivals like these provide the opportunity for people around the world to watch our films. I think people were able to see the 'shape of family' that is relevant around the world." He continued, "It's an honour to receive this award, but after hearing people's impressions, and learning that 'Asadake!' became the reason that many people went to the theaters after a long time, made me very happy."

Nakano also stated, "I am very happy that this film has overcome language barriers and borders to be accepted from people abroad."
