The cover is horrible lol But I’m so glad we’re getting new music and I’m sure we’ll get some singles until autumn. She announced the album quite a lot in advance so I hope she delivers

To each their own, but i truly can't see how you can use the word 'horrible' to describe the cover. Ayumi is gorgeous and even if the cover doesn't sparkle or share what you would like to see... I don't see how anyone could look at that beautiful woman in the way she is presenting and think 'horrible'

I think it's great! Really looking forward to this song

I’m just grasping here but maybe what is meant by “horrible” is “off putting” and there is an element of the photograph not looking like the Ayu we are familiar with. Previously she had a very distinct look, it was both aggressive and cute. In this photo she looks more balanced and vanilla, which I think creates a sense of distance between those of us who are accustomed to seeing her face a certain way.

Best Fiction was my first thought but in case of looks they managed to give it Korean vibes imo.

I listened to the song yesterday, it has good energy but so far I'm not that into it, I'm giving it another listen right now, beginning is good, chorus is a bit like mix of her old songs but I can't tell which ones, the vibe is there though.

I saw this on insta from someone and instantly thought it was fake, someone's bad attempt at photoshoping her face onto another body. Graphic design was never a strong side of j-pop, but at least they tend to get the styling and a picture right, but this, this is so BAD. LOL Cool that we'll have new music, although the description "dance tune" doesn't sound very promising. But yay for new music!

Exactly this. Even the hair looks bad lol Like Ayu you’re one of the richest women in the world, you can afford getting a decent hairdresser that knows how to properly use a curling iron. I just hope that the album cover is creative and not just a “beauty” shoot (I don’t find this beautiful hence the use of “ “ ). Mind you, I wouldn’t complain if it was a pic of an object/landscape and not her on the cover.
Edit: omg, how much I missed complaining about her releases. God bless she’s back

Music wise, I’m glad she’s trying new genres. I’m sure it is going to be a bop which is exactly what we need.

I like the cover. I'm really glad she used this look for the single because my first thought after seeing the new photo from the café was "please use this look for a single/EP/album cover".
I would've placed the font elsewhere, but I still think it's nice.

I don't know how many people here already heard the song (from the concert), but I'd personally say that it's not really much of an R&B track at all. I think the description is rather misleading in that sense.
