But,in Kouhaku ayumi declined the audience rating.
On the ohter hand,momusu really increased it.
Old people watch Kouhaku,too.
1 million or more people subscribed for utada's latest concert.

why compare both of them?BoA from Korea n she represented in MTVAA 2004..but so what?
don't forget that Ayu was The Most Influential Artist in MTVAA 2002...the very 1st MTVAA n she was honored...
MTV just want a bigger selection of celebrities rather than having the same ones every year...as u can see now,that IS the problem they r having...every year same ppl,same winners...boring!

I think you wrapped up what I've been thinking about this issue ! Yeah...it happened, and with Ayu's busy schedule, she couldn't take a trip to Singapore and back without feeling a bit exhausted. And besides, there's many other artists out there to choose from for next year!

When I was in japan last summer, They were playing her songs in every store I went into! that was so cool...
Anyway, yea.. Ayu has to be the most popular....

well... the only reason i can think of boa going to MTVA was cause she wants to spread to other markets... not just japan/korea... avex an SM want her to be international..wonder if they will ever make it lol....

rather than ayu... shes more like that type that will just stay home(japan)

Boa will move past Japan into China.
On the 14th at the 2004 MTV Asia Awards, after recieving "Favourite Artist Korea Award" and "Most Influential Artist Award", Boa held an interview with China's mass communication saying she will "Begin activities in China this year."

Boa who is now kown as "Asia's Pop Diva" rejected an opportunity to America's pop market and decided on China. Boa commented "If I become number one in China, then it will be the same as becoming number one in the world" and "I've started the engine in grabbing the attention of 130 million Chinese fan's ears"

SM Entertainment who recently created 'SM Japan' in Japan will now be creating 'SM China'. SM has stated that "If we succeed in entering the Chinese market, we will be able to gain populairty from the immigrants residing there and it will be a faster way to enter the world market" showing the importance of this issue. Furthermore, SM added that "Over the years we've seen a great possibility in succeeding through various marketing actvities."

Boa will release an album in April and will take part in many concert activities.
