Anyone got lyrics for ONE? I threatened one of my Japanese friends with deportion if she didn't transcribe the lyrics, but she's lazy and didn't finish. This is as far as she got:

EDIT: oh I just found out the single was released the 28th in march.

I had no idea such a similar video existed lol, the background is almost the same as Ami's. I like Ami's better because the last part of her video looks quite cool.

Ami was an Idol in the true sense of the word. her singles were popular but no one really cared when she went missing from the limelight. they were able to pull off the whole blacklisting thing because Ami was very easily "replaced" & forgettable.

Seiko still holds records in the j-pop industry no one is probably never going to beat, and her life has had some tabloid fodder scandals. she's definitely more famous than Ami.

my bias aside, I think hitomi too has more recoginiton than Ami. hitomi has had many more commercial endorsements & magazine photoshoots than Ami, and hitomi got to perfom all her latest singles in several music shows. not to mention her several tours. while Ami had one in early 2006, hitomi had three tours in 2005-2006.

I know the little debate is over. But I just want to say that by what I said I didn't literally mean that Ami was as popular or whatever as Seiko, hitomi and PUFFY. It was just a general comparison. o___o

^you're right, but on the other hand, ami seems to be a rising star in the e-j-pop scene now, so there might be a chance of a success ... it's really hard to tell, cause everytime you think there is some kind of trend in japan, the japanese surprise us with their taste in music..
