What to do about Shu.

If i am not wrong, ayu once said that she is impressed by Shuya's dancing skills to the extent that she is afraid of losing out to him. I think it is because of Shuya's dancing skills that made ayu give him all the lead dancing roles.

Blargh, I hate all this Maro vs. Shuya > They're both Ayu's dancers, I like both of them, but I hate it when they're compared endlessly. If anything, Maro's the one who's been copying his own choreography since CDL 07-08 for Shuya's solo, I assume. Heck, even the girls were doing the same moves in Sunset dance if you see closely, so yeah. However, he did great in GREEN, but that was choreographed by Peco, so yeah. Great dancer, crappy choreographer?

Besides, Maro has the same kind of look as Shuya, I guess, the "prettiness"? That's one most fangirls seem to go for. Shuya has the height advantage, which wins for me, lol.

The one problem I have isn't with Shu-ya specifically, but how his "solo performances" are directed. It's the same old story (mind you, I'm saying this without having seen AT10, which I hear is quite different), told a million different times, and imo it really cheapens the sincerity of the song when we have to see Ayu crying over not being able to be with him or w/e.

It might've been emotional the first time, but seeing it in every concert since for whatever ballad she chooses to sing, it really just makes the ballad performance less genuine to me and that's pretty sad, given that a lot of her ballad performances in the past were powerful enough to move me to tears.

i never thought in these terms but effectively you're right although never noticed..at least she could use one guy for each performance but using the same guy for years, PVS and thousands performances it weakens the drama

but i agree it's probably not just shuya...it's not whole cheography...he's probalby not the only one who makes decision on how to dance...seeing how big ayu's production is...

sometimes i think it just goes overboard and becomes to cheesy
