Ayumi Hamasaki DataBank.
Ok so here's an idea I had a few hours ago!....i was bored LoL. So as you can see below there is like a index of all things Ayu -very much incomplete-. I was thinking though that maybe one of mods or someone could make this a sticky in the forum -not sure if Ayu-chat is the right place so feel free to move it-
So basically the idea is that everyone could post all those interesting little tid-bits they know about Ayu and they could be added to the databank or index or whatever... you know what i mean! Just so that anyone new -or old- to the world of Ayu -and jpop- has a run down of little facts about her! A one-stop-shop if you like! So i'm trying to include lingo like 'engrish' and 'kawaii' for those complete newbies. But still keeping it Ayu specific! There's still alot missing at the moment as this was just thrown together this morning as a draft copy of sorts, so if any of the info is wrong please feel free to post a correction! This should be as accurate as possible! So what do you all think? good idea.. bad idea?? Feel free to say what you think -i'm a toughie- ! Anyways you'll all help right?? I'm sure we could all shock each other with the strange and wonderful facts we know about our idol, so start posting them and they will be added! And dun worry, creds will be given at the bottom of the post for all members that contribute! A A - Ayu's blood type. A Song For XX - Ayu's debut album, released 01.01.99, AVCD-11691. That's pretty cool, but a little correction concerning Boss. Boss isn't a company, rather it's the brand of the coffee Ayu endorsed. The BOSS brand is owned by the company, Suntory.

Dub Master X
Remixer: Dub Master X Real name: Izumi Miyazaki Born: 1963 Nationality: Japanese Izumi Miyazaki aka Dub Master X is probably Japan's no.1 remixer. After getting a degree as a sound engineer in Tokyo, he got a job as a mixing engineer at the hot spot club "Pithecanthropus". He then joined the dub band MUTE BEAT (other members included Kazufumi "Echo" Kodama, Akihito Masui, Tabayoshi Matsunaga, Hirobumi Asamoto and Gota Yashiki) and they released 5 albums and 5 singles between 1982 and their breakup in 1990, as well as doing live gigs in places like Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. A personal highlight for Miyazaki came in 1988 when he got to work with the creator of Dub, the late King Tubby. After MUTE BEAT disbanded, he joined MELON, a project headed by former PLASTICS member Toshio Nakanishi, as an engineer, and toured Italy and England. Miyazaki also started DJ'ing in 1983, with his base in the club MONK BERRYS in Harajuku, but he was also being hired as a scratcher and engineer for both studio recordings and live events. He was a central figure in the DJ boom in Japan together with Hiroshi Fujiwara, and actually got the reputation of being one of the top artists in the field. He and Fujiwara then got involved in the remix business, remixing songs for Kyoko Koizumi, a famous singer in Japan. He continued remixing as well as being an engineer and club DJ, and emerged as the leader in his field. In fact, he blazed new trails when he was signed to record label avex trax as a remixer in 1999. He's now viewed as the premier remixer in Japan, having worked with big names like Pizzicato Five, ELT, Namie Amuro, MAX, DA PUMP, DAI, HAL and of course Ayumi Hamasaki. His name-recognition is so wide and his remixes so popular that avex trax released a compilation of his remixes called "Dub's Music Box" (AVCD-11856). At present, Miyazaki continues to display all his talents as remixer, DJ, musical arranger, producer, recording engineer, P.A. operator & planner, composer, programmer, radio program producer and more. Additionally, Miyazaki's released a few solo albums on Colombia Records under his Dub Master X moniker. --->taken from http://hamasaki-republic.org/ ayumaria.

I'm not sure if you'll like this idea but you might want to do this on www.wikipedia.com - it's an online encyclopedia where any one can contribute stuff...there're already some things on Ayu but we could always add more.
