a little question... in the realase of GUILTY... its first week was in this oricon's holyday week right (because people could buy it before 01/01)?? and we had the sales of two consecutive weeks of GUILTY, and the #2 was in fact the position of the 2nd week... i'm right??

I say that cause if it's this way, Kuu's first week passed (and her #1) and its second week is not... enough good to get a good position...

maybe i'm wrong...

can someone explain me what happens exactly in sthis week??

ORICON combines the last week of the year with the first week of the next year as they go on holiday for New Years. As a result, they only have a 51 week chart year.

In the case of "GUILTY", Hamasaki Ayumi did infact place at #1 for the first week of the double week according to the figures from the United World Chart/Media Base. However, officially she did not get number one because Kobukuro overtook her sales during the second week and she ended up at #2.

This is the same thing that happened to Kumi. Her single came out in the first week of the double week, had enough sales to score a #1, but was overthrown by bigger sellers in the second week.

Don't think so XD TABOO sold around 75 k total, this prolly won't pass 70k but who knows.

the sales drop down really fast . i guess once the wave with all the fans that buys anything from ayu in 4 versions is done , her sales goes down fast .

i guess the song and the pv didnt touch many people (i have to admit ayu was beautiful but those pv and songs were quit boring) . after hearing sparkle i think that single is more fresh and have higher chances to sale. past chritmas and new year people must be tired of ballad and wanna hear more catchy songs .

ps : for people who wants to compare taboo and this single i think its ridiculous . first of all taboo is elecro pop , days green are more ballad and second of all taboo had only 2 versions in sales in store when ayu have 4 wich means fanatic buys all the 4.

to be honest i dont think those sales are so glorious especially if you think taht a lot of people buy 4 of them just to get the different covers wich helps a lot her sales.....

dont get me wrong i love ayu .... but i m just trying to give my point of view about those sales.

ps 2 : i wouldnt ask kuu for pregnancy advice either. her rotten egg story was the dumbest thing i ever heard.it was hilarious. especially when all the scientist started to reply all serious about it on tv.
