the problem might be that she's not as popular as she used to but still have so many dates so of course there will be empty seats! if she had like only 10-15 dates, there'd be less empty seats but now you have 20+ dates you can choose from

I don't think there's any excuse as to why her concert locations are emptier than usual. Is the simple fact that ayu has lost many fans over the years. I just hope I never see ayu in a tiny hall ( Bon voyage tour). Well then again that will get rib of half the new dancers. Works for me...

Hall tours are not a problem, Bon Voyage tour had like 50 dates, if it were a hall tour with ten dates now THAT would be bad. Even second session tour was held on halls.

I'm pretty sure ayu won't go for Hall Tours tho, her concerts have been really big on terms of stage, stuff going around and number dancers over the last years, so if there's a decline she would just stick to less dates, like Premium showcase.

Were Premium Showcase's dates full by the way? I mean compared to the times where there is much more dates, I don't remember.

I'm sure ayu will be making succesful tour even in 2018 on her 20th anniversary, as her tours are getting more and more elaborate. Hopefully, I'm going to see her live in 1-3 years. Preferable in a countdown live, since these always seem more exclusive.

The concerts in the middle of the week weren't full, but that's expected.

She still is at the top of the game when it comes to live audience, so, I wouldn't be worried about it... At the end of her pop career, Hitomi Shimatani had 2 or 3 dates on halls... I don't think Ayu will ever get there. Melissa is being dramatic.

Oooh I'll definitely be going if she does a huge themed tour for her 20th anniversary!

The Bon Voyage concert in Hiroshima I attended had a lot of empty seats and it was among the smallest halls Ive been to.

I am still not worried about Ayu tbh.

If she still is able to sell 80%~90% of the concert tickets, it still is a success...

The only way of having a totally sold out tour is by selling less tickets than demanded.

She would go for that after 30 years.

TBH, I cannot accept if Ayu decided to announce her retirement, she's been with me through my ups and downs, I'll continue to support her and planning to see her live in the next couple of years (with my sister), and if she really on her 20th Anniversary tours, I'll convince my sis that we'll go for that, 3 years to go.

This is what it usually is like, but you get all the negatives saying how her tour is in ruins because of a few empty seats. She's not the hottest new thing anymore but she is still known for putting on a very good and enjoyable concert. Ayu can always get enough numbers even if it is not a full house. If she wanted a sell out tour she could extend it to an Asia tour. Her fan base overseas seems to be as strong as ever

Also, some of the empty seats might be because people bought the tickets, but couldn't attend for some reason even if they wanted to, but they couldn't be bothered/didn't have enough time to resell. Especially since there is a global fanclub ticket lottery available these days. Some foreigners might have applied for the tickets, paid for them, but still couldn't get a visa or something happened so they can't go.

I know, it's probably just for a few seats, but still.

Yeah, but this still indicates that she becomes less popular. If she still were popular, people would want to see her concert no matter what, despite even the crazy resale price. It won't affect avex's financial statement, yeah, but that will probably lead to reseller shops buying fewer tickets to resell for the future shows, so it's still negative.

Unless people don't know about that particular reseller shop because of poor marketing/bad location, then that's the shop's fault and not Ayu's
