As for your initiate, you're correct: it does have to do with posts. You start off at Poker Face (Ayu's first song) when you have 0 posts. As you post more your initiate status changes. They go through her discography chronologically. The only person who knows what post it takes to reach what initiate is Impactbreaker, I believe. Maybe mnskalnm knows, too, but I'm not sure.

and the top poster, if they keep track of it. i used to keep track till 7000 posts, to have an idea of how many posts is needed to go to the new one.

for those H intites, i think i read before that some members had done contributions to the forum years back....so that's how they get a H initiate

Yup.

No, the mods can still choose their own initiates. But like I am Startin' (always have been since becoming a mod) but other people can be Startin' too. I asked skal about this once and she more or lesssaid it was because I chose mine after Startin' was already added to the system and it was a pain to reformat. I don't care either way. I'm assuming that's the same thing with bulma and Endless sorrow.

But no, if you're a perma mod, (NOT A HELPER) you get to choose your own initiate so long as another mod isn't using it.

I think everyone misunderstood what I meant when I said some are reserved for mods. >_<

Just because a mod has a certain initiate doesn't necessarily mean normal members can't get it. There is a list of initiates that are unavailable to normal members that mods can choose from to have. I think there's probably about 30 of them.

Mods can also choose to have an initiate that normal members can also have, but I don't think that that initiate is then "reserved." I think members can still get it.

As for non-mod members that have special initiates, Calico already explained it, but it's pretty much that they used to be mods.
