NINKI index for Feel the love / Merry-go-round
http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/ns/w/2013-12-20/ As expected , Hey ! Say ! JUMP's #1 . It's quite interesting ☆Taku Takahashi (block.fm , m-flo) also had a hand in composing & producing their single too , aside from what he did for Merry-go-round

Well, saddened that this being released on a week when a boy band is releasing material. It's almost a guarantee we won't have a 27th consecutive #1. But I hope the sales match L.
Either way, I hope Ayumi is getting back to releasing singles often. These last three years have felt unnervingly quiet without the single releases. |

Yeah, as I expect. #1 for HSJ. Hopefully Ayu can get #2, because once again I *don't* care about the charts anymore...I'm just getting tired of Johnny's and AKB48-related idols dominating the charts too much. (Someday the Johnny's and AKB48 craze will wear off, but not as soon as Ayu...) |

# 2 would be awesome, really. But even the third wouldn't be bad. Pretty much everything in top 5 is fantastic, since she had this drop in sales and somewhat in popularity too.

People, those numbers are not sales. They're an index of people's interest about the releases. It's a survey for some (300?) oricon subscribers.
Number sales has nothing to do with this number. But it usually can be like a proportion (so this time, HSJ might sell about 2 or 2.5 times more than Ayu)

Johnny's bands have been existent since 1962 , I don't understand why people continue to lament on this even up to now
On the day when all are gone for good is the day when Johnny himself passed the reins to someone else to take over his massive fortune/company And for the record , Hey! Say! JUMP will release a new single in Feb 2014
