MAO from SID Announces Live Streaming Solo Concert

SID vocalist MAO has announced that he will be holding his first live streaming solo concert on August 29th.

Titled "Hashiyasume Yuusuzumi Night" ~Yukata de sugosu natsu no yoru no yume~, the concert will start at 18:00 (JST). It will be broadcast via Niconico Live, neo bridge and LINE LIVE-VIEWING, and it will be viewable from overseas.

This concert will be the first time fans will be able to see MAO singing live in about half a year. There will be two ticket options: regular tickets that will cost 3500 yen and VIP tickets that will be 6500 yen.

The VIP tickets will add a digital VIP pass, three digital live photos and a two-song VIP-limited encore. In addition, VIP ticket holders will get access to a talk session after the concert and a virtual fireworks display. The archive of the concert will also be viewable for three days longer than with regular tickets. The archive will be viewable until September 1st for regular ticket holders and until September 4th for VIP ticket holders.

The fireworks display is MAO's attempt to honour a promise he made to his fans. As a special fan tour he had planned ended up being cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis, he wanted to deliver the experience of watching fireworks together with him in a yukata, even if it is not possible to hold such an event in person under the current circumstances.

The other musicians taking part in the concert will be keyboardist and bandmaster nishi-ken, guitarist Yasuo Kijima and violinist Daisuke Kadowaki. The band members will only be participating in the musical performance part of the broadcast.

Regular tickets for the broadcast on neo bridge can be purchased here, while LINE LIVE-VIEWING regular tickets are available here.
