History of K.U.N.A. (Koda - Utada - Namie - Ayumi)

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuQGr...ature=youtu.be
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytY-2cyPrNI&feature=plcp
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDP8W...ature=youtu.be
Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRUm9VDSpko&feature=plcp
Part 5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JDjYbTI7us

Here is a little video series I've made involving the 4 queens of the J-Pop world
It's just comparing the 4 discographies in chronological order of our beloved queens ^^
I'm not sure if there will be enough music from mid-2011 up until present
If not it may be a while before part 6 is up
But for now we have parts 1-5

P.S - I'm not sure what sub-forum this goes in but it does relate to Ayu (she's a rather large component of the video) so I put it here :3

Cool. I watched the first video. Since you are comparing each artist through the years I think it would have helped if you placed/included the dates or at least the year of each release per song (especially for people that may not be too familiar?) so people have a better sense that you made it in chronological order so it shows growth or difference in sound, etc. It would also make it seem more conclusive you're comparing each artist too by doing that.

I ran in here thinking:
Hamasaki Ayumi- born 2 Oct, 1978 Fukuoka Japan
Her dad yada yada
Her mom yada yada
Her grandmother yada yada

Koda Kumi- born I don't even know where not gonna google it, but probably Kyoto cuz she's the Shame of Kyoto.

Etc...

That was interesting...After watching those 3 I'd say Ayu stands out the most. She changed the most. And i dunno if it's just the songs you chosen but she seems to have the most of heaviest/rock influenced ones. And i've gotta say her ballads are unique too.
Her voice also drastically changed too in 2001 and she kind of turned into more rock influenced stuff. Basicly her bigest change was probably in 2001 after that she seems to be taking that path since then...

I didn't notice the change as big in Namie, Utada or Kumi.

So I kinda mke the conclusion that Ayu got the bigest change in her carreer out of the 4 of them, the bigest improovement.

Thanks for sharing, i think now i know why i love Ayu for sure. She's unique, and a rock chick lol

I totally agree with you and even if I love a lot of tracks from Ku and Namie I think that most of their stuff (especially Namie's) is just boring.
There are only few Ayu's tracks that I don't like and her discography is huge especially compared to a western artist
so go Ayu! you're the one and only Queen !
