Thoughts on PCDL '08-'09

Did anyone hear the song in the beginning? The one playing in the background while the show was about to start? Before the Mirrorcle World interlude edit video?

It had english lyrics to it, something that goes like:

"And then we wonder
where we fall...
where we fall..."

It really sounded like Ayu's voice. And that made me wonder. And besides, I;ve never heard of that song before.

Do they normally play Ayu's songs while waiting for the show to start? Or just some random ones? 0_0

I think they play random songs before the concert starts...
In the CDL 07~08, you hear Nickelback's song playing in the background!

I freaked out at that part of the encore. The best thing about it was that after all that was said since GREEN's PV, even by Ayu herself at TA, you somehow KNEW that something like that was gonna happen when it arrived Midoring's turn to speak. Ayu's so brilliant teasing on the matter.

yeah it's a moulin rouge song lol

When I went to AT08 in Osaka in June, they played some very weird music before the show. Really boring stuff - not "hit" material either. Kind of R&B japanese stuff.

It seems pretty normal that they play random music in the arena before the concert... much better than listening to dead silence and such haha.

I love the song Nature Boy, one of my favorites. It was originally a 1947 song by Eden Ahbez. Many many artists covered it including Nat King Cole (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq0XJCJ1Srw), and was used in movies including Moulin Rouge.

Watched most of it... pretty good, she didn't even looks enjuried when dancing :O

Her vocals were... well, good for her standarts... a bit off here and there, but better than some of her concerts... Some terrible outfits, but a amazing show all the way

lip synching... hmmm no... only in angel's song... in the others songs I watched she screwd up the vocals sometimes... Angel's Song was flawless...

And I woulnd't use the DVD version to see if she is singing live or not, all of her dvds have very edited vocals...

This might be the first ayumi live DVD i'll be getting since CDl 04-05...

^ I love CDL 04-05. I was my first Ayu concert I watched in full. But I pretty much get every Arena Tour DVD since then.

the setlist are always short, boring and similar

and the all the broadway musical is killing me!

this year's CDL concert was slow(ballad song etc) compared to last year.... kind of shows her maturity and some of the songs is like a reflection of her emotion at this time for example 'can we stop questioning to become adult or remain child' or something like that.if you read the new ayu message then you know what i mean
