Does anyone know any really good and affordable online stores that would have her new album and could ship it to Europe?

Hey chsf!

I would sincerely recommend yesasia.com to you.
I've tried other places like hmv.co.jp, cdjapan but their shipping costs really are too much whereas yesasia is really affordable.
Moreover, there is a special offer for those living in Europe and a few selected countires: free shipping for a limited time, yet you have to spend more than 49 USD.
Anyway, the normal shipping cost is quite affordable.
Yesasia also sells both japan and overseas versions of Ayu's releases. The overseas versions are less expensive than the japan versions (can anybody explain?), but they're released after the japanese ones, time varies.
I hope this was helpful.

Bye,

Benoît

The reason why the prices differ is because of where the CDs were made. The Japan Versions are made by Avex Japan while the Overseas Versions are made by Avex Taiwan. Everything is priced acccording to the currency value for that certain country. Japan Versions are priced according to Japanese values while the Overseas Versions are priced according to local Asian values. Because of the price differences, the Overseas Versions are not sold in Japan.

Here is how YesAsia explains it on their website:
"An original version refers to a product that is imported from the country it was produced and released. Therefore the price is slightly higher than the overseas version.

An overseas version refers to a product that is released by a licensed local record label and therefore the price is more competitive to the local market. Other than the price difference, the overseas version may also include some slight changes, such as, the translation of the booklet into local language, different packaging and printing, or the inclusion of additional bonus tracks."

Hope that helps!

thanks Benoît

CDJapan doesn't seem much more expensive to me though.

I really have to compare prices first.
Too bad Yesasia get the album so late, didn't have anything to compare from them with, only the shipping fees.

btw, this issue on why Japanese releases are more expensive than overseas ones sound more like it costs much more to make them in Japan, and that there is a customs/import law against buying overseas Japanese releases.
