I didn't vote for both. Both female and male singers are great in a certain way ^_^

Well, with 9 kids, I'm guessing I'm still female.

Female. The only male voice that I like is Yasu. Still, pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ male singers these days are a little too feminine...and Chinese male singers are just plain annoying (not talking about Jacky, Andy Lau, and the like)

Prefer females cause almost every asian language uses a "light" tone in their speaking so it wouldn´t work so well when there stands a male singer singing a "light-toned" song But it seems that the cantonese got no problem with this

female vocals in Japanese sounds a lot smoother and more rhythmical.. I haven't found a male j-pop artist i could really get into.

Um, i like them both pretty much equally. I sometimes prefer girl singers because i can sing along to them, but guy voices are so hot to listen to! Like Gackt, Kirito, Hideki... *drools*

Male singers all the way, there's only a few female singers that i really like the sound of, Shiina Ringo, Ayumi, Hikki, I just prefer Male sounding voices, Gackt, hide, HYDE, Miyavi, Daishi (PLC), Isshi (Kagrra), Kirito (PIERROT), Kyo (Dir en grey) just to put a few down, lol. XD

but this is like a year old thread -___-
