Ken Hirai released his 1st one last April & it barely make a dent on the chart

There's nothing to make people want to buy it. Something simple as a rearrangement, mix or even a preview for a new song would help.

I think the application card with the first press is to get the tickets to her live? I remember somewhere mentioning that if you lived in Japan, one of the first press bonuses was a ticket to her live

there's no incentive for people to buy it especially since the song's already on the album

at most you can download the DVD rip of the PV on the net

I don't know Melody but it's like things really went downhill for her after she released LOVE COOK , in terms of sales & etc

& Pocket was the 1st single since then to sell than 100K
