yeah this's probably the 1st time for an avex artiste DVD where the traditional chinese subtitles are inbuilt if I'm not wrong

OS presses for Johnny's DVDs have been like that , well from the ones that I have

maybe avex Taiwan got inspired by that somehow or another ?

from what I know , this might be the 1st time an avex artiste dvd's released with inbuilt traditional chinese subtitle since all along it only applies for VCDs

ya..this is the 1st time i bought her (or should i say avex artiste) dvd and it has such problem(to me its a problem T_T)

I just got the taiwan version, and its disappoints me so much. i think its basically a vcd put onto a dvd. The subtitles as mentioned...is permanent, the quality is absolutely terrible. and the video is encoded 4:3, therefore showing the blackbars on widescreen TVs.

I want to get the hong kong version now. does anyone know if its the same as the taiwan version?

i believe hongkong made their version from the taiwan version, so it should be the same...

or you can get the japan instead, at least the quality is VERY GOOD

if the DVD quality for the taiwan press's bad , hong kong's bound to be worst imo

avex Taiwan isn't stingy when comes to quality of taiwan press items so I can't imagine for Hong Kong's case

i got a news for HK version.AVEX said they are going to re-make the dvds with
* 16:9 aspect ratio (which previously was 4:3)
* options for subtitles (which was previously sticked to the video)
*the quality is almost same as JP version

i did not get any news for TW version
i think this time is exception where HK version is better than TW version

The qualitys not that bad but if you want the best, the JP versions the way to go, you get what you pay for

but vcd quality for DVD???its more expensive than the vcd!!!at least must be better than that....and why is it in 4:3 aspect ratio???not nice when you watch it in wide screen monitor or tv....sorry for complaining so much....but at least HK is going to re-make the whole dvds ...why not taiwanese also do so?

I think you should be glad that at least the PCDL DVD has an OS press release to begin with

some of the artistes that I support , they don't even have OS presses of their stuff & as a result those concert DVDs that I want to buy , they're expensive & I can't play region code 2 DVDs in my laptop

ya,i am glad that ayu's CDL has OS version...but i don't believe that a DVD dual layer (7GB) with vcd quality?4:3 aspect ratio???
i'm kinda worried and regret to order it so fast...
wish that avex taiwan will do what avex asia is doing..they are taking back all the low quality and re-do everything in higher and better quality.i'll stop complaining so much since i haven't got my copy yet :p

Its not vcd quality, if it was I would be very unhappy, I have the vcd ver of her dome tour and the quality is way better than that, it just may be a bit darker

On the back of the back of the cover it says the aspect ratio is 16:8 LB, its not 4:3

since 16:9 is already widerscreen,i don't think it means add another black bars for it again?

still haven't receive any news for TW version...
some said they had already sent few e-mails to Avex TW but no reply for them

what about if someone bought the HK version from Yesasia and they already shipped the order?

if my HK DVD comes with subtitles in Chinese I'm gonna trough it away xD
