I once saw a video installation at a vernissage by a contemporary modern artist and he did a "song" there mainly done with his voice and some background instruments - screaming and doing other sounds with his voice.
WATCH OUT!! reminds me of that.
Just think about it like that - avantgarde art.
Maybe everybody is doing it like that in 10 years+?

Also agree! It does sound like what it is: an R&B album from the late 1990s to early 2000s, but for me that's a win. This is what I grew up on as it was new at the time. Its in a genre that tends to sound good years afterwards.

haha not at all. all of those songs have been tough for me as well. actually, kuu has quite a handful of things that i just can't get into/don't enjoy/understand. it's always been that way. but i'm not a fair weather fan, so i keep coming back every time to see what else she has going on. in the last couple of years i've just found less material i enjoy, and a greater dislike on the tracks that i don't like.


this thread made me go back and pop in grow into one, which i also never really got into. it's way better than i remember it being.
