I'd never seen that performance before, but wow it was good!
Also, I know this is so last week, but I really agree with mellody about ONENESS feeling directionless with everything just mashed together.  I'm loving Yozora too! I did not expect such a dramatic song with a rapper featuring on it, but I'm happy to be surprised.  That chorus is monstrously catchy, I could remember it after hearing it once and it's been playing in my head since yesterday.

Agreed, Yozora is really nice.
Stress Free is annoying as hell (still haven't listened to ONENESS, I'm a bit late..) Itsuka Kimi ga is ok, nothing interesting. Has the solo version of Yozora leaked yet?

miwa ends up #8 in a competition that is so stiff, with the top five selling no less than 74,000 (once again, Masaharu Fukuyama beats miwa AGAIN, while Morning Musume gets a #2, which was a bit of a surprise to some of us).
And something doesn't seem to be right...  Is it just me...or why did LEO IEIRI, a girl who is four and a half years younger than miwa, sold more than miwa? This certainly seemed so odd. miwa vs. Leo Ieiri for the first time, and miwa ends up losing to her... Maybe because of the comments of the single that we made here in this thread? What about Stress Free - isn't that a song recut from the ONENESS album back in April? (well, obviously)

Story time! Last night, I was at a barbeque night we, the language students' guild at my university, had arranged for our new freshmen. Halfway through the night, a whole bunch (~15) of visiting Japanese students showed up to do some socialising of their own. I went to talk to them, eager to try out my limited Japanese skills. I ended up chatting for a while with one girl, and we bonded over liking miwa, she was way more excited about miwa than any other artist I said I liked.
 Her favourite song was 441, I named Delight and Hikari e as mine, we both agreed we had made good picks. It was nice.

Leo Ieiri is already popular since she was debuting, I would say she's even more popular than miwa, because she gained much from international fanbase as well if I'm not mistaken.
Haha, It's fun to know that another Japanese is into her and stating that her favorite songs are those popular ones! Anyway, her DVD & Blu-ray release is coming soon, acoguissimo 3 in budoukan one.

Along with Kinenbi, another new single is coming on November 11th.
The title is another long one since her 2nd single B-Side: Spoiler:
I think it's translated as "If you can embrace and be here" or something like that. Tie-in announced, a drama called "Kounodori" (Stork) which will be airing on 16th October. No idea what is the drama about, but if you check the official site, you might understand what is it about, and it seems this will be another ballad. According to the info stated in Sony Music, there's another song called "Hajimari wa Owarijanai" (from guitarium? Friday magic single?) will be used as a promo song or whatever for NHK Program called "On My Way" which is weird because it's an old song. I'm just hoping that it won't become the B-side for this single. Hmm, probably another romantic themed song like Yozora, hopefully it will be as good as her previous single.

I like the new single but IMO it's not as good as yozora..
Also I watched her Budokan live (the most recent concert release) and was really surprised when I saw that it's just her and her guitars. Really made her voice shine

If you guys want to watch full PV, use this my GDrive link. miwa - Anata ga Koko ni Ite Dakishimeru Koto ga Dekiru Nara EDIT: -New single is  maybe a bit generic for many but I love it.-B.O.Y. is nice, it's like an upbeat version of Hikari e + Delight, but some parts are weird + strange ending. -New mix for 3rd track, it's good. The song is basically nice, now this version is like a new flavor.
