About "creative swearing"
Does abberivations such as omfg, ffs and so on, belong to this?

I think an example of what they mean would be like having a space between each letter of a swear word. Intentionally misspelling a swear word would probably count as "creative swearing," too. I don't think "omfg" would count as that because it can also stand for "Oh my freaking gosh." Some abbreviations like that can be ambiguous.

True, but it still made me wonder, because ffs can't be taken as very much else than something offensive, and I want to know about it... I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to use it .

for freak's sake! sure it can!
As acronyms aren't as blatent as other creative swears, I guess they're considered ok. I don't recall ever editing an 'omfg' etc before. They're not as POLITE as one could phrase their post... but I guess it's not really crossing the line.

I don't see anything really wrong about abbreviations. Now, as qwerty pointed out, if you intentionally misspell a curse word, then that's a bit more..obvious.

Thank you, I don't intend of using them, but I wanted to know what the staffs view on this was. Because in my eyes writing, say, ffs, really is a way of swearing, because I don't read ffs when I see ffs, I read for **** sake. Altough it's not as bad as actually writing **** in some other creative way.
I don't have a problem with it, I just wanted to know . |

Yeah, I don't think so either, especially as we also have this one:
Maybe it doesn't do what I think it looks like it's doing, but anyway . |

^Hehe it's not, it's the 'index finger moved in a rotation around the side of the head' sign. It means '.....coo coo!!"

I was just about to mention that one; that's a prime example of how abbreviations probably isn't that big of a deal here. o_o
