US theatrical run for Filth and Wisdom

IFC Entertainment has secured North American rights to Madonna's directorial debut, Filth and Wisdom.

Written by Madonna and Dan Cadan, and co-produced by Madonna and Nicola Doring, the comedy-drama was initially intended as a short. It will get a theatrical run coinciding with video-on-demand availability.

In the film, the intertwining plotlines track, among other characters, a man who spanks for money, a chemist and a pole dancer.

Arabian Nights

According to UK paper, The Sun, Madonna is about to sign the most lucrative contracts of her career – playing two gigs in Dubai in November 2008 for £12.5 million and apparenlty she is also close to agreeing to play at a private party in Dubai, the first in her career.

Give it 2 Me has leaked! And I think the whole album's out there somewhere, but honestly I don't think it'd be good for me to find it haha

The song gets really good at the end, I dunno how I feel about the bridge though, it's kind of non-sequitor. Overall, strong and original song - could maybe use a little more bass or something but the remixes will take care of that

The song has also climbed to No. 1 on the overall European Airplay Chart.

US TV: The Today Show

Madonna is scheduled to make an appearance on NBC's The Today Show on Friday 25 April. This marks the first 'live' TV appearance of the Hard Candy album era.

You should be able to find it anywhere you can buy the regular album. Amazon has it if you are interested in preordering.
