Thanks for the info! I hope that 「off my day」 has some good photos in it, because that's which one I'm getting!

On my way, off my day...
Sounds like a Day In The Life of Ayu. On her way to work, and then when she's off of work... |

It's like saying I'm having an "off day". Or it could just be the opposite of "on my day". Off my day. When it's not on my day, then it's off my day. It actually makes some twisted sense! Ayu's English isn't actually that bad, considering she lives in Japan. Which is more than I can say for Hikki, who actually studies and lives in America. "Pieces of dying ember"? Feeling simple and clean tonight? Like a well-scrubbed bathroom? And she goes to Columbia? Now it's my turn to spretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ uberly Last edited by Uemarasan; 1st December 2005 at 07:25 PM. |

IMHO, "Off my day" = Engrish for "my day off" = "vacation day."

I don't think it's engrish, the reason it's "off my day" is because it's supposed to rhyme with "on my way" XD

Interesting...I'm still getting both, though.
I didn't see this update at Ayu's site, however.

Well this is interesting...I knew that the books would be different, but not entirely different. =3
I figure for people who really want both, that eventually the other book they need will start showing up in auctions and stuff. Unless of course you're just a person who wants to buy both versions anyway. I myself am still getting the CD+DVD version, so I hope that this is good! |

I hate the whole dual photobook thing. As if the dual covers and multiple versions weren't rip-off enough. Marketing is getting so gritty these days.

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the beak December, And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor. And although it's an awkward song, "Simple and Clean" makes sense, as well; the phrase is a colloquial expression meaning something the opposite of "messy". It's like "without a problem; no strings attached; no red tape; clear-cut; without making a fuss." "While Max cannot be trusted to work efficiently, Jane will get the job done, clean and simple." Hikki's lyrics are very awkard (in both Japanese AND English, I might add), but her use of the English language can't really be criticized. Saying "off my day" is just simply incorrect. Since I loved the look she had while shooting in NYC, I might actually consider buying both versions of this single despite the fact that I don't really like the songs (I like the PV's more than the songs, lol)
