Lol. Such editions are always released afterwards coz the biggest part of public won't buy them (remember RAINBOW and My Story dvd-audio). This edition is only for collectioners. Compare her DVD and Blu-ray sales, it's clearly seen that blu-ray is not yet that popular in japan now, though it's gaining popularity.

I suppose the blu-ray concert releases sold enough for them to try this out.

I saw a few blu-ray spec cd's in Japan, but they can be played on normal cd players too. Looks like this can't though...

blu-spec cds are something different, as I understand it has nothing to do with blu-ray.

I feel the same way, especially when the price difference is only 200 yen. Damn... I would buy the blu-ray if I didn't buy the cd+dvd. I dun have a blu-ray player, but I can download the songs here. In fact, I didn't touch my cd+dvd except looking at the booklets...

Wonder if she'll do this with singles as well... I was just thinking about this the other day. As we move towards the bluray age, will J-artists eventually make a habit of releasing CD/bluray versions of singles/albums/mini's or just save the blurays for concerts and big PV collections? It's interesting to think about.

This release however is a cheap and total utter cash in and Avex should be ashamed of themselves. Wasn't planning on buying anything FIVE related anyway so doesn't concern me.
