I for myself am happy about the covers. Especially the single cover reminds me of her time from 2005

And it's funny how really NOTHING fits with the concert. No real concept, no cover that fit neither to the 24th anniversary show nor to the CDL. And I really love that!!
But I'm asking, why she delayed the DVD release.

I'm eager for that new Ayu's summer song. I feel so nostalgic of this scheme of release. I remember my twenties when I was waiting the new summer song to add it to my playlist each time.

I have a theory but it has no real grounds. I remember people speculating the "Barbie-themed" show has some copyright infringement issues with Mattel and perhaps the original cover / boxes of the show had to be changed and they used "Summer again" concept to it. But, if my theory is correct, it was a last-minute decision, so they had to postpone the DVD releases to have the proper time to print the boxes and artwork with the new concept.

I was thinking something like that...

I remember that Shakira delayed the release of her latest tour like a year or so due to legal issues with one of the main songs (La bicicleta), I know that the Barbie issue here is just a rumour, but it make sense to me...

Totally could be the reason.
My theory was, that she decided to put Summer Again as a physical version on the TA Version. Like she did with Ohia no Ki and Dreamed a Dream at Promised Land. But the Barbie Licence makes so much more sense....

I'm hoping the song is more like Inspire than other Summer songs as it's been a while since we've had a song like that! Inspire was the first Ayu single I bought!

I'm feeling the exact same way. So many good memories of ayu summer single releases. This is definitely reminding me of those days and I'm all for it.

I love the long black hair look. I almost forgot how amazing she looks with black hair.

I can't wait to hear the song. I'm just hoping for something that's catchy, but not overly cutesy to the point where she has a good excuse to do her baby voice lol

I thought that maybe she was just borrowing the a-nation name (was first a-nation in 2002? maybe she didn't expect it to be annual thing) to make it sound like A-nation but she didn't even use the A symbol there. Funny how she didn't sing it during a-nation until many years later. I never considered it summer song though.

I would like the new single be more like July 1st / Inspire / Blue Bird / Fairyland, uplifting and upbeat but not overcute like Feel the love / You & Me.
