It's always nice to know what her song titles mean.

I always think ayu assembled the whole song first and then read through the lyrics or listen to the melody to figure out a title.

In the case of SURREAL, I always think she interprets "La-la-i doko ni mo nai basho de" / "nonexistent place" as "surreal", whereas what she aimed at was probably "unreal", as in "does not exist" / "is not real".

I find this little theory of mine applicable on many of her titles. But it's probably just me, seeing ayu as Little Miss Interpreter.

does anyone else wonder why she combines SURREAL and evolution (SURREAL~evolution~SURREAL) when she sings it live? has she ever given an explanation?
