Questions about banned songs

Okay, I'm a very respecting person as I read what is allowed and what is not when it comes to downloading. Yet, there's something that is very confusing

I'm bad at explaining so bear with me

Okay.. we all know some songs or albums are banned, like Utada's whole Exodus album and Nami Tamaki's Greetings album. Yet, here's the thing I don't get and here's a good way to show you what I mean

Nami Tamaki's "Get Wild" single

1 Get Wild
2 Get Wild -DX Remix-
3 Shining Star ☆Wasurenai Kara☆ -Supernova Remix-
4 CASTAWAY

The title that is bolded... was a song on her Greetings album. So I know that song is banned BUT.. is the remix which is featured on this single allowed? It was not released in the states, but it is a remix of a banned song, which causes my doubt to kill me XD

Also, here's another example from Tamaki:

1 Believe
2 Complete
3 Can you feel my love
4 Believe -Instrumental-

Once again, the song that is bolded is banned. Yet... is the Instrumental version also banned plus the b-sides on the single? Because once again, it was not released in the US.. yet, it's a version of a banned song.

Thanks if you can explain to me

If it wasn't released in the USA, then it's not "banned" here.

For Shining Star ☆Wasurenai Kara☆ -Supernova Remix- , it's not the original song, it's a remix, meaning it's a completely different song. That means you can upload/request it here.

For Believe, you can have the rest of the single, just not the a-side.

Yeah, it's exactly as Hazuki explained. The prohibition about songs released in america is not to make the users life difficult, but to avoid troubles with RIAA.

Another example:

You can't upload the song FEVER from Madonna here, but you can upload the song FEVER (it's the same song sung by a different artist) by Mika Nakashima, because her version wasn't released in US, and isn't under RIAA protection.
