no one seems to post about this...i heard that her white costume itself stands for 40,000 dollar or whatsoever... is there any other info on this?

All I know is that she wore a "junitoe", a 12-layer kimono (Very traditional!), and it weighed 20 kilos!!! She said so during her interview at "Hanamaru Market" (morning TV show)

I have heard about that too.
The kimono that Ayu wears is very heavy and expensive.
