If it's commercially available in the US, we can't share it.

I would say that would be O.K.
That's my opinion, though. Not my decision.

I mean, technically, it isn't a SONG or an .mp3, it's just a video, whereas jaro said, you can't buy these on DVDs. You can't really get them anywhere but computers and televisions.
dunno.

Seriously, just go get LimeWire and download whatever you want. x___x Ever since I got it, I don't request much. Although you should use it wisely and for evaluation purposes.

Since we have since changed the Downloads section to the "Asian Downloads Section" I would say that we no longer accept threads requesting any type of American music (.mp3, video, etc). However, there are plenty of other forums and sites with such downloads.

True, and True. I want to order a few CDs today, and put about $100 away towards a laptop i want $499 for a laptop? Great Price! I especially love CDs with pretty covers.. like RAINBOW.. and like Duty...oo so pretty. The golden shininess cannot be scanned! That's why all the scanned ones looks kinda crappy .
SO yeah, Orenji, you should just try limewire. I mean, music videos shouldn't be as illegal as the actual music, c'uz you can't really get em.

^ Dont forget though, some artistes releases DVDs.. Tori Amos just did it, she released a PV collection titled Fade To Red, and so now downloading her PVs are probably illegal.. Ayumi has always done it I guess..

Ayu was the one that started the CD+DVD stuff. But I think the Japanese music industry is the only one who releases almost every type of media they can try to sell (CD, DVD, Tour DVD, Calendar, Photobook, etc.). So basically, I think Japan really started the revolution of DVDs. I just saw an informercial(sp?) for Radio Disney's new compilation, and they're releasing a DVD too. But I know Jesse McCartney is on it, and he has a link with Avex.

^ Requesting them here would not be against the rules, however:
There are more appropriate places elsewhere - and some sites are dedicated to that need.

is it okay to request instrumental english songs? Like instrumental jazz/classics....perhaps instrumental of US artist song....since it doesn't include the artist's vocal
Instrumentals are subject to the same copyright laws as songs with vocals, so no, unfortunately not.

[My replying here might sound a little hypocritical since I offer so much for download, but >95% of what I share is not actually available for purchase]

No. If it is released in the USA in any form you may not request it.
