Hey! Say! JUMP's new song to be used in Yamada Ryosuke's starring drama

Hey! Say! JUMP's new song "Koi wo Surunda" has been picked up as the theme song for TV Asahi's drama 'Ore no Kawaii wa Mousugu Shohikigen!?' (starts April 16) starring member Yamada Ryosuke.

The protagonist for the new drama is Maruya Kosuke (Yamada), a salesperson for a beer company who utilises his "cuteness" as his weapon. With his thirties looming around the corner, he experiences a shocking incident that makes him realise that his "cuteness has an expiration date." Meanwhile, his love interest Sanada Izumi (Yoshine Kyoko) is a 26-year-old woman who has never been in a relationship before.

On "Koi wo Surunda," Yamada commented, "Since it's the theme song for my drama, and I had a clear image of the story, I had a lot of discussions with the staff from the song's beginning stages."

The song will be released together with "a r e a " and "Harutsubame" as a triple A-side single on May 25. "a r e a" is said to have a nostalgic melody with a slight EDM style, while "Harutsubame" is described as a refreshing song of youth.

Hey! Say! JUMP's "a r e a" picked up as theme song for drama 'Kaseifu no Mitazono'

Hey! Say! JUMP's song "a r e a" has been picked up as the theme song for TV Asahi's upcoming drama 'Kaseifu no Mitazono' that's set to premiere on April 22.

'Kaseifu no Mitazono' is the fifth series of the human drama starring TOKIO's Matsuoka Masahiro as Mitazono Kaoru, a male housekeeper who dresses up as a woman. It also stars Hey! Say! JUMP's Inoo Kei as Mitazono's kohai housekeeper Murata Hikaru.

This will be Hey! Say! JUMP's third time in charge of the theme song for this series. Like the previous theme song, "a r e a" was written and composed by "Kaoru," who is the protagonist of the drama Mitazono Kaoru.

"a r e a" is one of the title tracks of the group's triple A-side single to be released on May 25.
