I read a news last year that her lyrics was used as the entrance examination of some university about a year ago. If her lyrics are to be on the textbook of Japanese Language or Music in the near future, it's really no surprise to me, as they are so excellent.

Thanks so much guys for the translation and info! I'm really surprised to see that. It's just not something that I've ever seen before, but it's very cool, and it's such a high honor! That is so cool!

Takke, mimika gave a summary and translation of the article.

That really must mean something special for Ayu, to have her lyrcs used as a teaching aid must really be a high honour. I'm proud of Ayu for what she has accomplished.

So when we listen to Ayu songs now, we're actually in a lesson. LOL

Did Ayu write the lyrics for "A Song for XX" herself? I forget since it was one of her early songs and I'm not sure if she wrote all her own lyrics back then.
