just asking to be sure guys cause their were people saying it was BZ just wanted to be sure guys ^_^ can anyone tell me how much she makes? not paying taxes but gets pay.. in the may magazine says 700million is it true? one more fav can anyone get

The Japan Revenu Agency has recently announced its "taxpayer chart" for last year. Ayu is number 37 on the chart, while being the 1st among j-artists. She paid a total of (approx) 3,223,578.5 USD of tax for 2002, with an estimate income of (approx) 8,590,845USD for 2002.

it shows how ayu is so disciplined when it comes to law...(all i wanna say is how i admire her willing to pay that sum of money...and she it means that she's the biggest contributor for japan in artist category..)

When you earn an income from a job, you have to pay taxes on your income (you give a certain part of your income to the government). The amount of taxes you pay depends on the amount of money you earn. The more you earn, the more taxes you pay. That's basically how it works in America. I think it works in a similar way in Japan (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
