I couldn't care less when they come out, thousands of people died and hundreds of thousands more and still suffering, they're homeless and they have lost everything except for the clothes on their backs. If I have to wait another month or two to watch a DVD or listen to some remixes then I'm happy to wait. Geez, stop thinking of yourselves so much and try and look at the bigger picture. Whether or not the south of Japan was affected at all by the disasters that happened/are still happening in Sendai/Fukushima, I think Ayu and the rest of the artists who have delayed their releases are being RESPECTFUL by postponing them.

This isn't to everyone, just the select few who keep whinging about delayed releases.

I do agree, however, this is an Ayumi Hamasaki forum and this particular thread is about the postponed release, so we literally have nothing else to talk about except for the postponed releases here. Outside of this thread, I haven't spoken 1 word about the postponed releases because of course I understand and respect it and I feel for all the victims in Japan.

I guess this thread is just the 1 place we can go to wonder when these releases are coming out, and in our daily lives we worry about different things.

Yeah, I'm just getting so frustrated that all some people seem to be able to think about is getting their CDs and DVDs in the face of a natural disaster that has affected so many. I went to my city today and walked around and saw so many Japanese people standing out in the hot sun (it was 36 degrees celsius here today) with donation tins and playing instruments and some of them were just crying openly. Perth isn't that populated by many Japanese, but seeing it here in my city just made me so sad. Then to come in here and see people complaining just riled me up and made me feel even more upset.

You disagree? Ok, I only live here.

Of course its true that the south wasn't directly effected by the actual earth quake and tsunami. But it IS effected. There is no part of Japan that isn't. I just spent the last week traveling in the south actually. My Mother in America was so freaked out by the possibility of radiation, that I decided to go on a trip to Shikoku and the southern part of Honshu to calm her down. Some places have gas shortages and various food shortages and everywhere they are trying to save electricity (often times we were driving on highways in the middle of the night that weren't lit!) Across Japan major chains like McDonalds and all convenience stores are only using the bare minimal electricity necessary to run. And of course businesses all across Japan are not doing very well right now.

So, on the topic of delayed tours, I think anyone that holds an electricity guzzling show like Ayumi right now is going to be looked upon very poorly. I think all tours will be delayed by a month or maybe even more.

People in general right now have much more important things to worry about than entertainment. Of course its fine to want the releases, I'm just saying you might be waiting a while and people should try to keep things in perspective more.

I completely agree with you!

I don't understand why big acts like KARA are still releasing soon...

I'm agreeing with that also. This is NOT the time for the Japanese to play around and enjoy a fun time - we've got A LOT to clean up.

KARA announced that all the profit from their new single will go to charity, so that's why they're releasing it I guess.

I don't think people care more for release dates than for the victims of the natural disasters, they just care. Nothing wrong with that.

i suppressed myself to not respond to this, but I feel too intensely not to respond. your statement is like saying 9/11 only affected New York, and thie tragedy did not affect anyone outside New York, hence the rest of USA is all back to normal within no time.

it does not work that way. I find this comment unthoughtful and insensitive, ignorant and unempathic.

we are talking about why things are being postponed. things are postponed because **** was ****ed up...physically. there are places where nothing was affected physically.

9/11 ONLY affected people physically in New York. I'm sure the rest of the country felt it, and especially those who lost loved ones, but **** wouldn't get postponed in CA or FL or anywhere else in the country because of something that happened in NY.

The rest of the US (outside of NY) WAS back to normal in no time, because nothing happened to them for them not to be. The rest of the world just can't shut down because something horrible happened.

I don't think I'm being insensitive at all.

^ I kinda agree with this, but you have to also remember that Japan is much smaller then the US.. I can only imagine what everyone is going through.
And I mention size manly because of the rolling blackouts.. I don't know how far that is going to support the power supply, but Im pretty sure it effects plenty of people. I think the "effects" of felt more throughout the country because of this. (when comparing it to New York and the rest of the states.) ANd with all the food they have to through out and all that other simple stuff that people really dont think about till it happens to you, you know?

i think i said what i was trying to say anyways.. lol

I do not get why people want this to be released so quickly, please people think about what happend in Japan. Some of you are like, "omg three weeks ago there was an earthquake and tsunami in Japan and they still did not recovered jeez. Just release everything asap damn"..

Yes, I'm also that eager, I check AHS everyday to see if Ayu changed the release date to the original date, or to see what date they planned now. I can't wait for it to be released. So I know how some of you feel, but that doesn't mean that you can react like this.

Have a little bit respect for all of those thousands victims who got their life ended. Imagine someone close to you (a best friend) having to go through that, horrible isn't it? Now imagine your mother, father, brother, ANY family member. THAT IT WHAT JAPAN IS GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW. So, just don't be like "wtf you all are overreacting omg" have respect for your fellow-people.

Would you really enjoy listening to those songs, knowing they were released during such a horrible event ??

We're not used to these things. It's not some sort of snobbish cruelty. No one thinks less of the victims of the tragedies because they are anxious to get their albums. Those two things aren't connected at all in that way. To me that's like saying: "Eat what's on your plate, there are children all over the planet going to bed hungry."

Not connected.
