(miss)understood 1st+2nd week sales

Source: Soundscan

CD+DVD: 297,987
CD: 78,261
total: 376,248

Not sure if these are accurate. Soundscan is known to give lower figures than Oricon ones. Guess we'll have to wait for Oricon figures to be sure.

EDIT: it seems the figures are out already - Yahoo Japan quotes Oricon that (miss)understood sold 654,000 copies in the first two weeks.

actually, the sales is much better in Oricon
the sales always is 50,000 - 60,000 more than that stated in SoundScan Japan
therefore, that means (miss) understood sales is about 420,000 - 430,000
please note that most of people think the album is released on 2006.01.01
I think the sales in the second week would not drop to the half of the first week. It would be about 280,000 in the second week I guess

Two weeks: 700,000

Soundscan figures look low, but I read what "ayu-marco" wrote and that sounds about right. I hope she sells 1 million+ in a month, Go Ayu!

(miss) understood certainly deserves to be a another million selling album! Go Ayu go! I think the album would do really well ... (and yes, Ayu has been one of the few artistes who is able to secure secure steady sales)

im thinking its low because she changes her image / hair .. and also its because prolly the song she is promoting ATM .. Bold & Delicious ...
she should know that she should stop performing that song .. its a no no...
look at when she was performingi this song at the Music Station super live .. The viewers were not excited at all .. she should perform new songs from her album like rainy day / (miss)understood or criminal

376,248 copies is for the first week? I thought maybe first day... but first week?

I certainally thought it would have sold way better. But Ayu really promoting this album. She promoted a lot for "B&D" but not much for the album.

I wish people would stop faulting the album now. Its so sad to see the sales so low. I feel so dissapointed, this is an amazing effort. If she doesnt sell well then its a question of popularity and age over talent and work.

every time that everybody starts to say that she's going to sell a lot or conquer a lot of popularity, in the end i always get very disappointed.

like what happened to HEAVEN, i'm feeling very sad seeing the sales numbers.

I'm not disappointed by the sales, they're great. Lower than usual, but still awesome. I'm sure it will break the million eventually.

"HEAVEN" did really really well. Even great. It sold 325,526 copies.

Better than "fairyland".

I have no idea on japan's album sales so i won't comment on it, but I agree with whoever said that she really hasn't promoted this album, I haven't seen any performances otehr than kohaku, CDL 05-06 and a performance she did of B&D/HEAVEN, which hardly count as promotion since they were all year-end specials, she should be performing Ladies Night or rainy day.
