as a native english speaker, it sounds like a funeral service or something.. and when i told someone the title their response was something like woah, did she die?

but i dont think it means shes quitting because shes doing the 2004 arena tour.. maybe its her way of venting her feelings into the production of the mini album [she probably knows her fans are gutted at only getting 3new tracks] so she chose a twisted title like
[Memorial address]

Maybe it's her goodbye tour? It all fits in pretty good... a re-release of A BEST, the last songs ever on CD and a last tour... brrr...

*Come on now, fellow Ayu fans, don't hit me for saying it... ouch... hey that hurts! Ouch!*

As fans we should be a bit more realistic, but at the same time we should have some sort of faith in her. The tour has already started if I'm correct? Therefore we would have heard concrete evidence of it being her last tour. Rumours leak VERY easily but that doesn't make them true. If Ayu has not had an Official Statement, I won't believe that she's quitting. It's kind of saddening to see some of her fans almost making her quit with these comments.

but dont u agree the words [Memorial address] are a really bizarre choice of title?

Nu-NRG 30th November 2003 03:52 AM

yea the title is strange.......but ayu said this is a x'mas present for all her fans....so this doesn't mean she is goin to quit any time soon.....i hope....
oh the booklets must be kool.....better not disappoints me like what RAINBOW did =\

Everyone loves ayu 30th November 2003 07:33 AM

I dun really understand the meaning of 'Memorial address'...
seems pretty sad, though.

Also, I dun really like the idea of mini album with PVs...
What I'd want to see is a 10+ track album... those PVs can be collected to have a 'A clip vol.3' release.

But, it's all official now... *sighs*

Memorial address is a weird title.. Perhaps it'll be explained closer to its release date

I remember a quote she made about the mini-album, according to one of the auto-translations:

"the thought like a Christmas present by everybody, a fan, was put and made. By a video clip taking a photograph with various supervisors, since it was very pleasant, it is talking with my wanting you to see the pleasure of the image."

Since the DVD is going to be region code dvd 2 how can we watch it? Will a dvd drive in my computer play it?

tetsuo69 3rd December 2003 05:07 AM

Somehow, [Memorial address] seems to be a deep title with such a deep meaning. It's like she wanted us to keep this "present" forever. I definitely will buy this.

What does it mean by DVD region2??? Then can we play it on our local DVD player or with some programs on the PC???

region 2 is japan
region 1 i think its north america
theres like 6region for parts of the world... so if you have DVD that only plays region 2 and the DVd is region 3 it wont play....unless you have a dvd that plays all region... for pc you can download a program that would let you have free regions... to change it when ever you want... if your DVd for pc dont work with the region of the dvd
