Chosen to sing for Eric Whitacre @ Carnegie Hall
 

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've been here. The reason for that is because I'm working really hard to become a successful musician. I'm getting closer and closer to that everyday and one example is me being chosen to sing for Eric Whitacre (The man responsible for the virtual choir video) this summer 15 June. I just thought I would post here and see what people think :P.

I thank you all so very much. I will say this, and I'm not trying to make it look like it's the only reason I'm posting it here for (Trust me, some popularity is good :P ) I AM indeed looking for donations and sponsorships.

I'm not a very well off person like any other typical American, I was raised with very little financially and materialistically. If you, or anyone is interested in helping me get to Carnegie Hall, please PM immediately. My goal is to be able to raise at LEAST 1000 dollars by 12 June 2010. It's not a very large goal, but it IS indeed a big chunk of change I need. My fundraiser did NOT go so well, we only made enough to make the money we invested into it.

Eric Whitacre is one of the most amazing composers ever :heart omg I love him~

"Sleep" is my favorite...I swear, it taught me the importance of feeling in music...something that, in that particular composition is placed above the difficulty of the piece...we played a symphonic version of it when I was in high school. It was so incredibly gorgeous...the sound we were able to achieve with the brass and his chords...I could go on forever about it lol

I saw that on the news once! Dont take this offensively....it's a complement. You guys sound like whales......you know like how whales sing? Its so calm and kind of spooky. It's awesome. Good luck!
